Woodbine Opry Held Every Friday & Saturday
Join us for Ole' Timey Music & Southern Cooking at the WOODBINE OPRY. every
Friday & Saturday Evening. A foot-stompin', knee-slappin', finger-snappin',
hand-clappin' good time, the Woodbine Opry, held at the renovated "Old
Woodbine School" at the Camden Community Center, is the place to be every
Friday and Saturday evening. Musicians play "old-time" bluegrass, gospel,
and country music at the historic circa-1926 school. For a friendly
get-together before the music starts, home-cooked southern-style potluck
dinners are available at $7 each and include tea and dessert. Meals are
served at 6pm, with the music beginning at 7pm.

Annual Crawfish Festival in downtown Woodbine
Held the Last Weekend in April
The event is held at the Waterfront Park and along the Riverwalk in Downtown Woodbine. It includes food, music, arts and crafts,

Armed Forces Day Celebration, Downtown Kingsland on Saturday, May 19
Join us in a patriotic salute to America's military, our veterans, their families, and those who have given the 'Last Full Measure of Devotion'.
The ceremony will commence at 11am and will include an honorary invocation, parade of colors, rifle salute,
cascade of taps, and singing of the National Anthem. Following the ceremony, there will be free entertainment, a
variety of food and activities. The 2nd Annual Armed Forces Day celebration will be held in downtown Kingsland on Saturday May 19th.

Annual Independence Day Festival in St. Marys
Held on the 4th of July each year
Hosted by the Kiwanis Club this festival celebrates our nation's independence. Festival includes: 5k/10k races, parade,

Labor Day Weekend Catfish Festival in Kingsland
Nothing goes better with crispy southern-fried catfish than a succulent serving
of country music. And festival goers can feast on this and much more during Kingsland, Georgia's 25th Annual
Labor Day Weekend Catfish Festival which runs from Saturday, September 1st thru Monday, September 3rd in
historic, downtown Kingsland, Georgia.
Festival entertainment planners announced Tracy Lawrence as the entertainment for the 25th Annual Labor Day Catfish
Festival. Live entertainment will run throughout the day on Sunday, September 2nd and Monday,
September 3rd, 2007.
Scheduled events include a parade, arts & crafts booths, southern fried and Cajun catfish, a variety of food booths, antiques and
collectibles, children's amusement area, a 5K run, a 25K & 50K bicycle ride, a classic car & tractor exhibition, and the Lions Club
annual Pancake Breakfast.
New this year, festival attendees will have the opportunity to support the festival programs and enjoy front-row
seating at Tracy Lawrence's headline show by registering as a ³Friend of the Festival² sponsor. This new program
will allow participants to reserve a special seat in front of the main stage for the headline performance for only $15.

Kingsland's Annual Labor Day Catfish Festival is the largest festival in Camden County and this 3-day event
attracts a crowd of over 75,000 people throughout the weekend. A four-time award winner of the Southeast
Tourism Society "Top 20 Event" and three-time award winner of the American Bus Association's "Top 100 Event in
North America", this festival proves to be a wonderful three-day weekend for the entire family. There is never an
