More than 300 species of birds have been sighted at the 18 sites along the birding trail. Trail sites in and around Kingsland include Cumberland Island National Seashore, Crooked River State Park and Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge.

CUMBERLAND ISLAND NATIONAL SEASHORE:  Lang's Seafood Inc. rents bikes on Cumberland Island when the boat is docked at Sea Camp. Beach cruiser bike rentals are first come first serve and prices start at around $ 16.00.  Cumberland Island is part of the Colonial Coastal Birding Trail.  Map of Cumberland Island.   CROOKED RIVER STATE PARK:  Standard or Tandem Bike Rentals as well as bike seats and training wheels are available with rentals starting around $7.00.  All pricing subject to change.  Crooked River is part of the Colonial Coastal Birding Trail. GEORGIA COAST RAIL-TRAIL (WOODBINE/WHITE OAK SECTION): The Georgia Coast Rail- Trail comprises 68 miles stretching from Kingsland to Riceboro Georgia.  Our section is 6 ¾ miles of bike trails along the Satilla River and Highway 17. Some comfort stations available. Map of Georgia Coast Rail-Trail. OKEFENOKEE NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE:  Bicycles can be rented to ride within the refuge on Swamp Island Drive.  Swamp Island Drive is 7.5 miles of paved, flat road.  Numerous walking trails along the way offer bike racks so you can park and walk.  Bicycles rentals start around $ 12.00 day and include helment.  All pricing subject to change. Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge is part of the Colonial Coastal Birding Trail. Map of Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge.  HISTORIC DOWNTOWNS OF KINGSLAND AND ST MARYS:   In Kingsland bike the ‘Old Dixie Hwy’ (US Highway 17) from Woodbine to the blue bridge on the Florida Border.  Stop in for rest and remembrance at the Kingsland Veterans Memorial Park located in historic downtown Kingsland.
