GILLIGANS ISLAND Gilligan's Island
Gilligan's Island is one of Camden County's best kept secrets! This newly constructed park is located on Highway 40 right across from Hippo Storage. This 57-acre facility is open to the public and features trails through native and pristine Georgia habitat, as well as a cool, spring-fed lake ideal for swimming, canoeing, or kayaking. Gilligan's Island park amenities include a screened pavilion, picnic tables, outdoor barbeque, and a special area for four-legged family members!

Crooked River State Park
Located on the south bank of the Crooked River, this park offers an Olympic size pool and bathhouse, picnic shelters, group shelters, rental cottages, tent/trailer/RV sites, and activities that include saltwater fishing, hiking, biking, a children's playground and much much more. Crooked River State Park is located 12 miles east of Kingsland on Spur 40. Park hours are 7am-10pm. Fishing, Kayaking & Outdoor Recreation
Kingsland is blessed with abundant rivers and streams, including systems of the Crooked River and St. Marys River. These waterways wind their way throughout the area offering unparalleled opportunities for kayaking, boating and fishing. Georgia's Coastal Region is approximately 110 miles long, a diverse and exciting area that provides many opportunities for visitors to stay in Kingsland and enjoy all of the coastal adventures nearby. Colonial Coast Birding Trail
Visitors have the opportunity to view a kaleidoscope of birds along the varied lands and waters that comprise the Colonial Coast Birding Trail. More than 300 species of birds have been sighted at the 18 sites along the birding trail. Trail sites in and around Kingsland include: Cumberland Island National Seashore, Crooked River State Park and Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge. St. Marys Aquatic Center
Come and enjoy the areas newest adventure!! Relax on a tube in the continuous river, swim a few laps, or ride the twister slide and explore the thousand ways to get wet. The big attraction for the little ones is the play pool with dozens of ways to squirt, spray and splatter your friends with gallons of water. Soak up the sun or lounge under the huge umbrellas while munching on treats from the concession stand. Park hours: Monday - Friday 11am to 6pm; Saturdays 10am to 6pm; and Sundays 1pm to 6pm.
