DESCRIPTION:St. Marys\, GA  |  Saturday\, November 7  |  Registration Required \nPedal your way through Coastal Georgia during the 12th Annual Three Rivers Ride on Saturday\, November 7\, in historic downtown St. Marys. Hosted by Camden Cycling Club\, this scenic cycling event takes riders along some of Camden County’s most beautiful waterways\, roadways\, and marsh landscapes\, with route options designed for a variety of skill levels and distances. \nRoutes include 30-mile\, 40-mile\, 62-mile\, and 100-mile rides\, with clearly marked\, color-coded courses\, stocked rest stops\, SAG support vehicles\, and cue sheets provided for participants. Riders will roll through areas surrounding the Satilla River\, Crooked River\, and St. Marys River — the inspiration behind the event’s name. \nEvent-day activities begin at Howard Gilman Memorial Waterfront Park\, where packet pickup opens at 6:30 a.m. at the gazebo. Riders stage at 7:15 a.m. for a safety briefing before staggered starts begin with century riders\, followed by the shorter routes. \nParticipants can also kick off the weekend early with packet pickup on Friday\, November 6\, from 3–7 p.m. at the St. Marys Welcome Center. The top three catches in each category will earn $300 for first place\, $150 for second place\, and $75 for third place. \nThe general entry fee is $50 per angler. New this year are live-fish aggregate categories for redfish and spotted seatrout. Boats may enter a three-redfish or three-trout aggregate category for $100 per boat\, per category\, with a 100% payout to the first-place winner in each. Fish entered in these categories must be alive and meet the tournament’s specified size requirements. \nRegistration and rule packets are available at the Crooked River State Park Visitor Center and North Star Bait and Tackle. Families and friends gather as the community counts down to the lighting of the Christmas tree\, filling the waterfront with holiday cheer. It’s a magical evening that brings the spirit of the season to life. \nKick off the holiday season in downtown St. Marys at the annual White Lighting Processional Parade\, a festive evening of music\, dance and holiday cheer. \nThe procession begins at 5:30 p.m.\, or just after dusk\, at Meeting Street. The public is invited to join Santa\, Mrs. Claus and friends as they make their way up Osborne Street toward the waterfront. \nAlong the route\, enjoy Christmas carolers from The Friese Studio of Music\, dance performances by Coastal Dance Studio and Lisa Allen’s Dance Works\, and holiday music from the Camden Community Band. \nThe procession ends at the waterfront\, where Santa will light the giant St. Marys Christmas Tree. Afterward\, children can visit Santa at the St. Marys Waterfront Pavilion behind the tree. Bring your camera for a holiday photo! \nAdmission is free. \nPlease note: This is a walking procession; golf carts are not permitted.
