Bolt Visitor Center at Okefenokee NWR  |  Saturday\, August 22  |  9-10:30 AM  |  $5/Vehicle Entrance Fee \nStart your Saturday morning with a guided walk through Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge World Heritage Site. \nThroughout summer 2026\, refuge rangers will lead weekly hikes into the Okefenokee\, offering visitors a chance to explore the landscape\, learn more about the refuge\, and keep an eye out for the plants and wildlife that make this ecosystem so unique. \nWild Walks begin at 9 a.m. each Saturday. Participants should meet at the Richard S. Bolt Visitor Center\, 4155 Suwannee Canal Rd.\, before heading out with the ranger. \nComfortable walking shoes\, water\, sun protection\, and insect repellent are recommended. \nFor more information\, call the refuge at 912-496-7836.
