This family-friendly community celebration honors Juneteenth through music\, education\, fellowship\, and cultural pride. \nGuests can enjoy live entertainment\, a DJ\, community vendors\, historical presentations about the meaning and legacy of Juneteenth\, and free books highlighting African American history and culture for children and adults. A free hot lunch will be served beginning at noon while supplies last. \nThe event will also feature the release of the third edition of the Camden County Black History Booklet\, available for purchase for $25. \nVendors interested in participating can register through the NAACP Camden County Branch vendor request form. Held at St. Marys Elementary School\, this patriotic event invites visitors to stroll along a commemorative pathway honoring Georgia’s three signers of the Declaration of Independence—Button Gwinnett\, Lyman Hall\, and George Walton—as well as Camden County patriots\, Revolutionary War soldiers\, and chapter member patriots who helped shape the nation’s history. \nThe event begins with an opening ceremony featuring a public reading of the Declaration of Independence\, offering a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the ideals and sacrifices that led to America’s founding.
