CROOKED RIVER STATE PARK - One two-lane paved ramp on the Crooked River adjacent
to the Crooked River State Park, large floating dock, fish-cleaning table, running
water, and a paved parking lot. (30° 50’ 41.9994” N 81° 33’ 35.9274” W) Directions: East
on GA Hwy 40 for 3.6 miles, left on King’s Bay Rd for 2.1 miles, left on GA Spur 40 for 4.2
miles to boat ramp located at the end of GA Spur 40.
DOWNTOWN ST MARYS WATERFRONT – Paved boat ramp with 4 lanes, public fishing,
floating docks, restrooms, bait, tackle and fresh water wash down hose are available,
large parking area, two single-lane ramps. (30° 43’ 12.6474” N 81° 33’ 01.1154” W)
Directions: Follow GA HWY 40 east for about 9 miles to St. Mary’s Street, turn right 0.1
miles to boat ramp located on left.
NORTH RIVER (MEETING STREET) – Two large, paved boat ramps and a floating dock for
fishing, no facilities. (30° 43’ 59.3394” N 81° 32’ 20.4714” W) Directions: Follow GA Hwy
40 East about 8 miles, turn left at sign onto Meeting St just past the railroad tracks,
ramp is at the end of the road.
HWY 17 BRIDGE – Small, paved boat ramp on the GA side of the St. Mary’s River,
freshwater bank fishing, limited parking. (30° 44’ 31.4880” N 81° 41’ 15.9354” W)
Directions: Follow GA Hwy 40 West (East King Avenue) for about 1.5 miles, left onto
U.S. Hwy 17/South Lee St approximately 3 miles. The landing is located on the left side
of U.S. Hwy 17 just before the blue bridge at the Georgia/Florida state border.
SATILLA RIVER WATERFRONT PARK - Boat ramp at public park, pavilion, picnic tables,
electric, parking and running water. On the south side of the river, both upstream and
downstream of the bridge, are large piers and an old railroad bridge for fishing
(freshwater species). (30° 58’ 23.592” N 81° 43’ 26.436” W) Directions: This waterfront
park is located in the town of Woodbine. From U.S. Hwy 17, turn east at the first road
on the southern end of the bridge over the Satilla River (park is on the southeastern
side of the Satilla River).
DARK ENTRY CREEK FLOATING DOCK - (Small Boat Carry Down), Borrell Creek in St.
Marys - Floating dock with a wide ramp suitable for kayak/canoe launching, public
saltwater fishing, limited parking. (30° 45’ 12.9234” N 81° 35’ 01.0674” W) Directions:
Follow GA Hwy 40 East, approximately 5.5 miles , turn right into a small parking lot
just before Dark Entry Creek Bridge.
