Brackish Beer Company became Georgia’s first microbrewery when they opened at their original location in St. Marys, Ga. For a decade, this beloved microbrewery has been a destination for beer lovers, fellow brewers, and microbrew connoisseurs from nearby and across the country.
Soon, Brackish Beer Company will open at their new location on the main drag in historic Downtown St. Marys at 117 Osborne St.
Owners Jon and Karen Preble have painstakingly gutted and remodeled a 115-year-old 2-story brick building to welcome a larger number of patrons. Renovations included restoring part of an antique tile floor, adding a second story wrap around deck, and a covered music shed so that they can continue to feature live, local entertainment. Most importantly, they have installed a brand new BREWHA system to craft their tasty beers.
Join their devoted followers, the Brackish Ale Raisers, on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday evening for great company, great music, and, of course, great beer!
Brackish Beer Company is open for limited hours each week. Check their Facebook page for news on their upcoming grand re-opening and future hours.
