Owner Dayanna and her husband come from Cuban families via Miami. They opened La Familia to share a taste of Cuban culture and the recipes they grew up with. True to its name, the cafe is built around the idea of la familia — creating a place where everyone who walks through the door feels welcomed as part of the family and the community.
