DAR “America 250 Celebration” Patriot Walk at St. Marys Elementary

June 18 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

St. Marys Elementary School  |  Saturday, June 27  |  10 AM  |  Free

Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary during the Patriot Walk hosted by the Earl of Camden Chapter, National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) and Visit St. Marys. Held at St. Marys Elementary School, this patriotic event invites visitors to stroll along a commemorative pathway honoring Georgia’s three signers of the Declaration of Independence—Button Gwinnett, Lyman Hall, and George Walton—as well as Camden County patriots, Revolutionary War soldiers, and chapter member patriots who helped shape the nation’s history.

The event begins with an opening ceremony featuring a public reading of the Declaration of Independence, offering a meaningful opportunity to reflect on the ideals and sacrifices that led to America’s founding. Through its mission of promoting historic preservation, education, and patriotism, the Earl of Camden Chapter continues to honor the people and events that helped create the United States while inspiring future generations to appreciate their shared heritage.

St. Marys Elementary School is located at 601 Osborne St. in downtown St. Marys.

This event is free and open to the public.  For more information, contact Visit St. Marys & Cumberland Island at 912-882-4000.
