Amid a chorus of “oohs!” and “aahhs!” the highlight of the family-oriented Annual Independence Day Festival in St Marys is a spectacular colorful display over the St Marys River at dusk. Located just minutes east of Kingsland, this year’s festival will celebrate the 250th anniversary of our nation’s independence from Great Britain in 1776.
The Independence Day Festival also includes: 5K/10K races and a kid’s fun run; a parade; food concessions; arts & crafts vendors; live entertainment; and a breathtaking fireworks display over the St Mary Rivers.
