Muscadine U-Pick Season Opening Day at Blackwater Vineyard

Celebrate the start of muscadine season at Blackwater Vineyard in Folkston! The vineyard opens its 2026 U-Pick season on Saturday, August 15, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., inviting visitors to head into the vines and harvest sweet, locally grown muscadine grapes.
Blackwater Vineyard provides everything you’ll need for picking, including containers and bags to carry your grapes home. The Chill Zone folks ton will also be on-site Saturday with cold drinks to help you beat the August heat.
Bring the family, enjoy some time in the vineyard, and take home a taste of late summer in South Georgia. The vineyard will be open rain or shine.
