May 7 @ 9:30 am - 5:00 pm

The Kingsland Welcome Center  |  Monday-Friday, May 4-8  |  9:30 AM-5 PM

Celebrate National Travel & Tourism Week with the Kingsland Convention & Visitors Bureau!

Plan a visit to the Kingsland Welcome Center, 1190 Boone St., Monday through Friday, May 4–8, between 9:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. and discover more than you might expect—from a charming model train display to regional artwork and a thoughtful selection of Georgia-made products.

Enjoy free samples of traditional Southern and Georgia treats (while they last!).

Why celebrate?

Tourism has a significant economic impact on Camden County—and Kingsland is at the center of it all.

Located just off Interstate 95 and GA Highway 40, the City of Royal Treatment is the perfect place for vacationers and weekenders to stay. Kingsland provides easy access to St. Marys and Cumberland Island, Crooked River State Park, Satilla River Waterfront Park in Woodbine, the Florida-Georgia Railway and the Folkston Funnel, and Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge. Plus, Kingsland is a natural choice for folks attending events in Jacksonville, but who prefer to stay in the quiet beauty of Coastal Georgia.

Those visits pay off.  In Camden County alone, the travel and tourism industry provided 1,931 jobs in 2024. That same year, visitors spent $181.9 million in Camden and generated $53.2 million in county income. Now that’s something to celebrate!
