Stand Watch 5K in Downtown St. Marys

Join Everbrew Coffee Co.  and The Veterans Phalanx for the inaugural Standing Watch on Saturday, Sept. 5, in historic downtown St. Marys.

This free, non-timed community 5K welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels. Come out for a morning run, enjoy a walk with friends and family, or simply show your support for veterans, active-duty service members, military families and others in the community.

The event is intended to raise awareness about mental health and suicide prevention within the military and veteran community while encouraging connection, conversation and support.

The 5K starts and finishes by St. Marys City Hall at 418 Osborne St. Complimentary bottled water will be provided by The Veterans Phalanx, and pre-race coffee and post-race refreshments will be available for purchase from Everbrew. Official event shirts will also be available for purchase, with a portion of proceeds benefiting The Veterans Phalanx.

Participation is free, and optional donations are welcome. Donations directly support The Veterans Phalanx, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving veterans and their families.
