"That Bloody Plan at Traders Hill"

The Charlton County Historical Society presents “That Bloody Plan at Traders Hill: The 1793 Creek Raid on Seagrove’s Store,” a talk by historian Carolyn DeLoach based on her new book which describes the attack as an act of retaliation by the Lower Creek.
The program will take place on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026, at 3932 E Main St., Folkston, GA 31537.
The official release of DeLoach’s book will follow the program.
Cost is $10 at the door and proceeds benefit the Charlton County Historical Society.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Program begins at 7 p.m., followed by the book release.
