Try Out the Route: St. Marys Tabby Trail

St. Marys Waterfront Park | Saturday, May 23 | 10 AM-5 PM | Free
Celebrate National Trails Day by getting outside and exploring the St. Marys Tabby Trail, a scenic multi-use and bike path connecting some of the area’s natural and historic highlights. This self-guided ride lets participants start whenever they choose and enjoy the route at their own pace.
The trail currently stretches 22 miles roundtrip, running from St. Marys Waterfront Park to Crooked River State Park. Along the way, comfort stations are available at Sweetwater Park on Point Peter Road and at the McIntosh Sugar Mill Ruins on GA Spur 40, across from the Stimson Gate of Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay. Restrooms and a bike repair station are available at the waterfront park.
Please note that portions of the trail system are still under development along the route.
Pick up a trail map at the St. Marys Welcome Center, 400 Osborne Street, or access one online at VisitStMarys.com/Maps-and-Documents. National Trails Day participants who stop by the Welcome Center on June 6 can also pick up special goodies while supplies last.
