Step into the past after dark during Twilight Tales at the Tabby Mills, a new fall event presented by the Bryan-Lang Historical Archives at the historic McIntosh Sugar Mill Tabby Ruins in St. Marys.

As hundreds of flame-free candles flicker across the grounds, costumed characters will bring stories from the past to life through family-friendly historical storytelling. Reserve a spot on one of the free guided tours and experience this landmark in an entirely new way as twilight settles over the ruins.

Tours and admission are free. Reservations are encouraged via Eventbrite.

Before You Go

The McIntosh Sugar Mill Tabby Ruins are an archaeological and historic site dating to the 1820s. The grounds include roots, holes, and uneven surfaces, so visitors should watch their step and wear closed-toe shoes. Please do not touch, climb, sit, or walk on the ruins.

Flashlights will be available for tour groups to borrow. Guests may also bring their own flashlights but are asked to avoid lights or other items that could distract performers, staff, or other guests.

Depending on the weather, consider bringing water, bug spray, a sweater or light jacket, rain gear, or other appropriate layers.

Parking will be available on the north side of the park, with designated parking areas marked by signs.
