Wild Walk: Ranger Guided Hike at Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge World Heritage Site

Start your Saturday morning with a guided walk through Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge World Heritage Site.
Throughout summer 2026, refuge rangers will lead weekly hikes into the Okefenokee, offering visitors a chance to explore the landscape, learn more about the refuge, and keep an eye out for the plants and wildlife that make this ecosystem so unique.
Wild Walks begin at 9 a.m. each Saturday. Participants should meet at the Richard S. Bolt Visitor Center, 4155 Suwannee Canal Rd., before heading out with the ranger.
Comfortable walking shoes, water, sun protection, and insect repellent are recommended.
