Unique Antiques

More and more people of various ages and interests have been gaining interest in collecting pieces with both beauty and history, whether their preferences are for certain styles and categories or they’re broad collectors, on the hunt for the perfect 1950s tea set that speaks to them or a grandfather clock that brings them joy and complements a room.

Rosewood Estate Sales beckons passers-by with their curated window displays, a reflection of their tastefully-arranged storefront that combines aesthetic and quality pieces. There are so many gems here for so many styles, from glittering beaded vintage gowns to regal furniture and accents. Doll collecting has ramped up in popularity, especially among people even in their teens and twenties–you’re likely to find a selection there, from pierrots to porcelains. Gilded mirrors and unique paintings grace the shop walls, nestled alongside candelabras, lamps, rocking horses, and so much more just waiting for their next life at a new home.

Make it two for two by visiting Southern Shenanigans–just a one-minute walk down the road from Rosewood. Their cheery apple-green shop holds within an eclectic collection of vintage clothing, retro-inspired furniture, art, jewelry, and more, making the shopping experience just as fun as finding the perfect gift that you just know your person will delight in. You’ll find mid-century modern glassware (and perhaps a bar cart to go with it!), groovy lamps, an array of furniture, and accessories from vintage pearl necklaces to cocktail rings and an outfit to pair them with. The holiday season is an especially great time to visit if you’re looking for unique handmade and/or vintage ornaments and nutcrackers!
