South Georgia style meets Saturday night under the lights at Captain Stan’s Smokehouse as Altamaha Sound takes the stage on Saturday, May 30, from 6:30 to 10 p.m.

Formed in 2025 out of Wayne County, Georgia, Altamaha Sound is a new regional band bringing a mix of Southern rock, country, and good-time live music energy to the stage. The group describes themselves as a band that just wants to “have a good time making music,” and their sound leans into the laid-back, river-country spirit South Georgia does best.

Grab dinner, a cold drink, and settle in for an evening of live music in one of Coastal Georgia’s most eclectic outdoor venues. Captain Stan’s Smokehouse is known for its backyard-style atmosphere, smoked barbecue, seafood, and regular lineup of live entertainment “Behind the Magic Fence.”
