If you’re feeling curious, step inside and explore local history at the Thiokol Memorial Project Museum which honors the victims and first responders from the 1971 explosion at a local munitions plant. It’s a deep look at a significant story of humanity and community that shaped the culture of Coastal Georgia.

If you’re interested in trains, head to Kingsland Station, home to the Florida-Georgia Railway Heritage Museum where you can catch a themed train ride from Kingsland to St. Marys and back.

If you haven’t had enough of nature, keep it simple: explore another trail, hike, bike or just wander slowly under moss-draped live oaks. No agenda required.
